ABOUT US
ALLPA - International Festival of Roots Music, promotes the preservation and revitalization of sound heritage, fusing traditional sounds with contemporary expressions. The festival offers three days of activities that energize the local cultural fabric and provide the community with a space for enjoyment, education, and reflection. The area of influence is the Kichwa community of Monserrat in Otavalo, the epicenter of Kichwa culture, with a vital sonic legacy for activating local cultural circuits, promoting the inclusion of historically marginalized communities, and highlighting great exponents of roots music.

Conceptual contributions
The Música de Raíz Festival is a cultural initiative that seeks to preserve, revitalize, and promote musical heritage as a tool for social cohesion, cultural development, and strengthening local identities.
Through an interdisciplinary approach, the project combines traditional and contemporary expressions in a space for creative dialogue.
The festival's central focus is on promoting local musical groups with international exposure, decentralizing the cultural offering, highlighting high-quality artistic offerings, and emphasizing the sonic richness of the cultural roots of indigenous peoples.
